Getting started
What is Minthra?
Minthra is a companion for miniature painters. Track the models you're working on as projects, save the paint-and-technique sequences you love as reusable recipes, and catalog the paints you own on your shelf.
How do I create my first project?
Open the Workshop tab and tap New → Project. Give it a name, add the parts you plan to paint, then attach recipes and progress photos as you go. Your project shows a live progress bar as parts are completed.
What's the difference between a project and a recipe?
A project is a specific model or squad you're painting. A recipe is a reusable sequence of paints and techniques — like "worn brass" or "pale skin" — that you can apply across many projects. Save a recipe once, reuse it forever.
Account & sign-in
Which sign-in options can I use?
Email and password, or one tap with Apple, Google, or Discord. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email and we'll use Apple's private relay address.
My verification code didn't arrive.
Codes are valid for 15 minutes. Check your spam folder first, then request a fresh code from the sign-in screen. If nothing arrives after a couple of tries, email contact@minthra.app and we'll sort it out.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password, enter your email, and follow the code we send you. The code expires after 15 minutes, so use it promptly.
Your work
How do I add paints to my shelf?
Open the Shelf, search the catalog by brand or paint name, and tap Add. Your shelf powers suggestions when you build recipes, so the paints you already own surface first.
Can I share a project or recipe publicly?
Yes. Any project or recipe can be made public and shared with a link — anyone can open it in a browser without an account. Everything is private by default; you choose what goes public, and you can switch it back anytime.
Sync & devices
Does my work sync across devices?
Yes. Everything is tied to your account and syncs automatically, so your iPhone and iPad always stay in step. Sign in on a new device and your projects, recipes, and shelf are already there.
Is there an iPad app?
Minthra is built for both iPhone and iPad, with a layout tuned for each screen — a roomier, multi-column workspace on iPad and a focused single-column flow on iPhone.
Account & data
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period — sign back in during that window to cancel it. After the grace period your data is anonymized, held briefly for legal reasons, then permanently purged. Prefer email? Write to contact@minthra.app from your account address and we'll process the deletion for you.
How do I export a copy of my data?
Email contact@minthra.app from the address on your account and we'll send you a copy of your data. We respond to data requests within one month, as required under GDPR.
Privacy & security
What data does Minthra collect?
Only what's needed to run your account and store your work — no analytics, no ads, no behavioral tracking. Minthra is a non-commercial hobby project. The full breakdown lives in our Privacy Policy.
Is my data secure?
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions use HMAC-hashed tokens, and all traffic is encrypted with TLS in transit. Your data is stored in the EU. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
